He seemed genuine enough about his religion. It's a huge uphill battle in Texas but Trump, Ken Paxton and the GOP are doing all they can to get him elected.

He's not really moderate in anything other than identity of being a white christian.
A lot of these candidates feel like they're being propped up by the same people that told you Tim Walz would connect to white men.
If he wins in Texas then democrats are gonna have a huge wave. My guess is after 6 months of being tarred as completely woke and transgender he'll lose by a good amount.
