I find that kind of thing very useful. Knowing what I’m working and why helps me execute, as well as deciding appropriateness for me in the first place. On the other hand a lot of what I watch is from physical therapists, and helping people understand how their body parts work and are interrelated is important for their work.

I clicked on the link to get info about some exercise or stretch to see if I want to try it out. I don’t give the tiniest of fucks about how the four heads of the muscle attach to lever points in the joint blah blah blah blah. This is completely useless crap. I’m not going to do the exercise because you have some 35 minute nonsense story about why it’s an optimum workout for some muscle. I’ll do it if I try it and like it.
Yet 90% of fitness videos spend half the run time on this garbage that is completely worthless.
