But generally speaking in that game we were getting good looks and just biffed 100 layups and open threes. Oh, and UConn made a ton of shots they weren't making earlier in the tournament.
We could have probably done better defensively on them overall but I think or DRtg on Kenpom improved with that game.
We just couldn't hit the broadside of a barn from 3 feet.

Our PPP went 1.54 (!!!!), 1.15, 1.11, and 1.3 (!!). In what world is that horrible offense?
Our assists went 15, 15, 13, 8. Yes, only 8 assists against Iowa, but our offensive PPP was 1.3 in that game. He repeatedly made numerous adjustments every game, including against Houston. He found the best offensive/defensive combo by spreading the floor with Keaton, Mirk, Ben, putting Andrej in the dunker spot, and then either putting Tomi in ball screens for pick and pop actions, or giving it to him down low. That was the lineup we used almost exclusively the last 8 minutes against Iowa and it won us the game and TOOK US TO A FINAL FOUR. It was also the lineup that was on the floor the most against UConn--Kylan in fact play the *6th fewest* minutes on the team in that game.
The gameplan and in-game adjustments against Houston were *flawless*--he coached circles around Kelvin freaking Sampson. Agreed the fouling at the end of the half was not executed perfectly, but you're talking about the difference between an A+ and A coaching job there.
No doubt the offense stalled out against UConn. Dan Hurley is also literally the best coach in the game, and our players missed a crap ton of shots.
I'll agree we continued the Jake starter thing to long, but meh. I don't think it actually had any negligible impact--Andrej played starters minutes the whole tournament.
If you come away from this tournament thinking Brad is a bad in-game coach you made up your mind long ago and are looking for reasons to support the narrative you already decided upon.

-Our offense was horrible all tournament. Too much isolation, Keaton holding on too the ball too long and no assists. We were lucky to be able to bully all the small teams down low before UCONN but that caught up with us.
-If we are down 10 with 7 minutes to go against UCONN, why is Boswell playing? It was like playing 5x4 offensively with him on the floor. He basically played every minute till the end and I don't want to hear about defense at that point.
-His insistence on starting Davis over Stojakovic put us in a hole to start every game. Davis had a combined 11 points for the tournament that is unacceptable. I understand Davis started at the end of the season but you have to pivot.
-His fouling tactics at the end of the 1st half against Houston. The best thing that happened to the team was Boswell getting in foul trouble.

Holy shit, my friends. We are here.
21 years since the last one. A team that hasn't played its best game in the tournament yet, by far. A huge ORANGE crowd. And an opposing coach that all of America (other than Connecticut) will be rooting for us to beat like a drum.
Let's fucking go, you boys from Illinois.
