If there are 8 edges taken in the first round every year and 1 TE, you've got a much better chance of 1st round edges appearing more productive.

even if 6 of the 8 are busts, if 2 of them reach the top 10 in salary, that makes the position look twice as valuable per this metric.

it's "you shouldn't highly draft these positions because they're less valuable and they're less valuable because they don't get drafted highly."
