This is a top 5 transfer (top 10 at worst). An older sophomore with a ton of skill, success, and now NCAA experience. If we got Blackwell instead of him (not both) I feel like fans would be talking about us differently. But because it’s Vaaks we missed on guard.
Maybe I’ll end up totally wrong, but sophomore Vaaks roughly equals freshman wagler to me.

Losing Wagler is a huge deal. Vaaks, who hasn't signed yet BTW, is good but a step down from Keaton. Coleman is possibly better than Bam on offense but a step down defensively. I think Andrej, Jake, and the Brothers Ivisic are who they are at this point. Mirk could make a leap for sure, but I'm not sold that next year's team is much better than this last season's.
