I grew up near Blo/No, I think ISU has a pretty nice campus, I think Uptown Normal is a pretty good little area, I went to basketball and a couple football games growing up and always thought I was going to be going to ISU up until really the end of high school

In the last year or so my opinion has turned solely on the fact that I don't think it's good for UIUC to have an elevated sports program sapping away attention from central illinois sports fans... If you're trying to elevate a campus or two up to AAC or maybe B12 status, that's a draw on your football season ticket base.

My rationale is purely selfish, I think DeKalb generally sucks and UIC isn't a classic college setting
