...15 minutes of my house any time I want, so there's no real allure to gambling in Vegas.
Not really interested in $25 or $50 tables in Vegas, especially now that you can't drink free when you're playing (at least not at the $$$ level I play at).
I might wander into a casino just for giggles with a really small bankroll, but my wife doesn't gamble and doesn't enjoy the casino experience, and I thought it would be cool to let her shop and see stuff like the fountains and maybe wander up to Fremont, especially if the Strip is going to be screwed up prepping for the F1 race.

Seeing the Eagles at the Sphere on Saturday, 11/14. Flying in the night before, catching a redeye out Sunday night. Wife has never been to Vegas and has never had any interest in going to Vegas, so I think the plan is to keep it low key-check in and grab a drink before bed on Friday, spend Saturday at the pool before the concert, concert Saturday night, either the 11 or 2 Wizard of Oz back at the Sphere Sunday, peoplewatch and shop Sunday afternoon and evening, and fly out at like 11:30pm Sunday.
Given where we're planning on spending most of our time, is TI a reasonable choice? Seems like Caesars, Venetian, and everything else around the Sphere are like $400/night, and I can get TI for like $150. I"ve never stayed there....only ever stayed at CP, Venetian, Bellagio, and Mandalay Bay. It's close to the Sphere and kinda right in the middle of everything, so location-wise it seems like a reasonable choice. Not looking for a 5 star resort for this trip.....it's about the shows.
Thoughts?
