In that little patch of ornamental grass between the sidewalk and the curb a pair of mallard ducks have built a nest that has, as of now, 3 eggs. They are going to have to adjust to foot traffic though. The female flew out this morning when my son and I walked by, I don't think it's going to work if she keeps doing that.
