I need to read a bio of Eleanor at some point
Edited by DT on May 26, 2026, 17:52:32
Read a good paired bio of the mothers of Churchill and FDR a year or so ago. It was really interesting to see how much they had in common and how they differed, and how their sons were influenced by both the similarities and the differences. And they each had interesting lives in their own right, apart from their sons, especially Churchill’s mother. Previous Message Damn fine Dutch-Americans and two of my all time favs.
