But getting back a 3rd round plus for him is just a yes any day of the week. Especially at a position where we’ve heavily invested.
With this DL, we basically conceded that we’re not going for it this year. Trading from depth to continue to build future assets is the right move.

He’s not a great player and I doubt it would hurt the team that much if we didn’t have him. But he does have some value for the Bears, and if all you’re getting for him is turning a 5th round pick into 3rd round pick, then you’re probably better off keeping him for another year.
UNLESS you have someone come available via a trade that you need to clear cap space for.
