Maybe others (plus some West Coast schools now in our conference).
We're kinda stuck in this position for Illinois students. If you're top of the line coming out of undergrad, you're choosing Northwestern or U of Chicago. If you're going to go to night school and plan to stay in Chicago: plenty of those in the Loop already. :-/
Like for a lot of undergrads; UIUC is kinda a safety school. Wanna go party?? Go out of state, UIUC is too close/demanding. Consider yourself an egghead?? Try for UChicago or Northwestern.
But... here we are. :-/
