I think I likened it to the scene in Finding Nemo where Marlin is cradling the one remaining egg, because that's absolutely how it feels when every other day you're getting updates about how the chances of success are plummeting. We gave up after our third round.

I know it's Dads Day but my wife had joked for years about hoping to be on maternity leave during the World Cup so it's especially fantastic that she gets that deserved bonus.
