Yeah, it's Summer League game 1. No reason to read too much into it.
Probably had just a handful of practices with his teammates as well. Long road to go. Great to have another 1st round Illini in the league, and yes, seems like a great guy.  Previous Message
... and a year ago was a skinny (true) freshman who wasn't projected to be much of a contributor in 2025-26.
Who knows, maybe the Clips are trying to bring him in slowly during the summer? Keep his stamina up for say, post-January 2027?
Eh. I'm still happy. First-round Illini and a good guy from everything I've seen and read. :-))
