My poor mama. She was 20, away from home for the first time (she and dad had just moved to San Diego because he was in the navy), she was sick 24/7 while knocked up, had to give birth in a huge room with other women screaming and crying, then had to leave me in the hospital for a week. 😭 Fortunately for her I made up for all that by being a perfect child 😇
