3 days later, when I’d paid $125 for a day tour plus a hotel to stay an extra night in order to visit the park, we got to Paradise and it was snowing. The whole time there it was totally overcast without a glimpse of the mountain.

On a clear day here I can see the Farallon Islands when I turn toward my neighborhood on my way home from work. They're really cool islands off the coast of San Francisco and also a bird and great white shark sanctuary.
