Bow Falls isn't too far from Banff Springs, and of course Lake Louise is incredible. Did you get over to Lake Moraine? It's a short trip and probably even more spectacular.
Regardless, that's an incredible trip. Glad you got to do and had fun.

Pretty incredible experience and luxury hotel accommodations including 3 Fairmont Hotels (Jasper, Lake Louise, and Banff Springs). Way above my pay grade but a once in a lifetime trip for sure. I'm a train guy and am now spoiled for life. Metra and CTA won't be the same on my next trip to Chicago.
Bummer that I missed the opportunity to go to San Diego to see the Cubs post-season games. Sorry/not sorry, but it was quite an atmosphere/party in SD at Petco from what I heard/saw.
Heading out to Catalina Island tomorrow for a long weekend visiting my daughter at the CIMI campsite where she teaches and supervises. Gotta pack VERY differently, lol!
