Back in April I donated my shitbox Volvo V50 to the Make A Wish foundation. I figured it’d go to pick n pull somewhere. I signed over the title and got a receipt. I cancelled my insurance.

I now think it was sold at auction and whoever bought it never insured it?

This morning I got a text from Geico asking for additional information for a claim filed a few days ago on the car. Say what? Could someone have purchased the car and never insured it, then had an accident and they just ran the vin to the last insured party?

I need to run this down to the ultimate end and not ignore it, right?
