Gorgeous and can see a lot while only walking in a short distance on paved trails, easily doable with a little one. |
Seneca lake has a short boat tour thatís niceóIíd imagine most of the lakes are similar.
Letchworth state parks in between the finger lakes and Niagara Falls is really impressiveóreally deep canyon with a number of easily accessible overlooks. You can raft on the riveróitís calm but 2.5 is still too young for that Iím pretty sure.
On Niagara Falls, you canít really get a very good look from the US side as a pedestrian. Option if you didnít want to cross the border would be to do the boat tour. We did not do that but Iíve heard it is really neat.
Also, is Niagara Falls still much better on the Canadian side? A little worried about long lines at customs to get to and from Canada for a few hour trip.
Trip is in about 3 months.
Taking a 2.5 year old and the in-laws.
