for a physician group. It was in an old house in downtown Spfld near Memorial Hospital that had been converted to office space. Staff must've been like 5 or so. Super easy stuff like filing or whatever. If I didn't have anything specific to do for them, they were fine with letting me just sit there and read (I had a stack of novels to read over the summer preparing for my upcoming AP Lit class senior year). Sometimes they even let me just go home. With pay! Speaking of pay, $5/hr was pretty sweet in 1987 (minimum wage was I think maybe $3.35 at the time, maybe $3.65).
