That seems horrible to have to spread work over 14 hours Archived Message

But at least you have flexibility |
My son's school day runs from 8am-2pm, which seems absolutely ridiculous to me. My wife is a teacher, so she has minimal flexibility during the school year.
My work day has to be:
6am-7am, break to get kids ready and off to school
8:30am-2pm, break to pick up kids from schools
3:30pm-4:30pm, break for dinner/bed routines
9pm+ finish anything that I missed during my "breaks".
- Our kidís daycare just reduced summer hours to 8am-4pm, citing labor shortages. - CWR10 May 18, 2022, 23:03:37
- That sucks. I'm so glad not to have to worry about child care or formula right now. * - doubledown May 19, 2022, 10:21:58
- Ours just permanently reduced hours. Not as bad as yours but ours was originally open from 630- - GhostofPokeyStixPast May 19, 2022, 8:21:42
