Also - comparing against Q1 2021 will definitely lead to shock value, as GMPJ even admits with the preceding two years of lower profits.

Let's just assume they did anything they could to keep average gas prices half of what they were/are. They still get 140% more in profit vs. 2021. Seems like there is a scenario where everyone can be happy without the big oil companies taking as much money as humanly possible while completely screwing over the vehicle driving public.
