The Walmart owners would still be multi-billionaires if they paid their workers $35/hour. Bezos would still be a multi-billionaire if they paid their factory workers and delivery drivers more. JP Morgan execs would still be multi-millionaire/billionaire (depending on who) if they paid their custodial staff more. Oil execs would still be multi-whatever if they didn’t gouge consumers during times of inflation. Etc., etc. But businesses making the most amount of profit at the expense of labor is defended in America as vigorously as the second amendment. I bring it up every time, but people on this board want companies to reduce worker salaries if they move to a cheaper place. Just a mystifying worldview, but it’s who we are.  Previous Message
