Unofficially that's been their stance, but they've actually asserted privilege claims rarely. Raskin pointed out that Trump has made no claims of privilege to the Jan. 6 committee for anyone that they have asked to testify. Dems in some past hearings haven't been nearly aggressive enough in challenging assertions of privilege that were backed by nothing.
