Urban - kinda what you expect, walkable dense urban development is the goal. Idea is to create a "street wall" with new development.
Suburban - also what you'd expect. Basically auto oriented hell... where all your national chains are going to go. We require pedestrian connections but aren't under any illusions about what the mall is.
Traditional - basically everything that was left. Detached single family homes on smaller lots, especially neighborhoods with alleys... and older commercial corridors.
Specifically with commercial zoning, we applied it to a lot of older and worn out corridors with smaller lot sizes where infill was difficult without reduced setbacks and also where we wanted to make new development be more walkable from the neighborhoods.
