given the very low bar for an indictment and with 66 "victims" to choose from, that they struck out suggests sleaze to me. that's no standard in pro sports. |
and the browns may be inept but they're not throwing this kind of money at watson without having done a lot more diligence than the NYT. right? i mean it's the browns so i hvae to ask but i feel pretty good about it.

He might be a predator. He might just be a sleeze. I have no idea. Heís said he wants to fight this in court. Not sure what the NFL can or should do with pending civil cases. Not to taz it up but it probably gets messy for them to do anything before those are resolved.
my guess is that asking for a BJ during a message does not rise to the level of assualt. just uncouth behavior. in other words, he's like 80% of other pro athletes.
honestly difficult to imagine them dealing with it more ineptly. pretty shocking from a league that puts self-preservation above all.
