I think separated paths are good if you have a corridor with good access management and you can create a highway...
my employer does not like cycle tracks (and I disagree on that), but I think there is some risk with faster moving bikes crossing intersections when cars aren't forced to look for them
there isn't a magic pill for everything unless maybe we all go to AVs that are aggressively programed to go slow and handle pedestrians... which we won't... we'll just find new ways to get places faster and kill people.
