I do think he downplayed his lack of shooting ability a bit. Overall it seems like he’s so good in other areas that he doesn’t really need to shoot, but part of the reason he’s always looking to pass is that he knows he doesn’t have an outside shot right now. I don’t think it’s solely because he prefers to pass instead of trying to score. So that will be the key thing for him, college defenses can make it harder for you to do the things you do well if they don’t have to respect your jump shot at all.  Previous Message |
