There was a new agreement today between Canada and Denmark to settle a claim to a disputed island off the coast of Greenland. They decided to split the island (roughly) in half. https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/canada-denmark-reach-hans-island-deal-after-50-year-dispute-1.6487325 Canada previously had a land border with only one country (US). Denmark previously had a land border with only one country (Germany). Now they each have a land border with two countries. |
