He gets around pretty well on 3 legs and walks a few miles a day. Does a few beach run / plays a day. Usually morning and night. Wife and kids mostly take care of him. He's very "talkative" as a shepherd usually is. He was afraid of me for about the 1st month and slowly has warmed up. He was found abandoned in an orchard near Fresno in July (consistently over 100 degrees)...and was only 30 lbs. He's now about 55 lbs. He's somewhere around 2 years old and from the wear patterns on his teeth it looks like he was kept caged up for a long time. He was also terrified of me for the first few weeks, so I assume whoever had him caged up was a man who wasn't too nice to him. But he's very friendly to everyone and other dogs. So, other than being a general inconvenience compared to previous, he's pretty good.  Previous Message
