I dealt with my issue for over 3 years before having surgery. When I woke up, I had more feeling in Archived Message

My hands than I have had in 2 years or more. Not having any pain and I’m off one med and potentially a second med. mine was a 1 level fusion of C6-C7. The doc wanted me to have the surgery 8 months ago and I just wasn’t ready. I’m glad I did it but I understand his apprehension at his age. I don’t have an opinion on whether or not to have it. He will have to make that decision on his own. Previous Message One of my distillers is a young man, mid-30s, and has 2 herniated discs. They've been causing him a great deal of pain and restriction for maybe a year now. He's been trying to treat them with injections and physical therapy to very mixed results. Obviously trying to avoid surgery, which I totally empathize with. My question is...if after a year of non-surgical treatment with less than optimal results...this guys headed for back surgery in the not so distant future right? I feel extremely bad for him as he shouldn't be dealing with these type of issues at such a young age.
