Under the banner of Heaven Wanted to watch this as I read the Krakaur book years ago. Thought the show was good and worth the watch, though from what I recall it seemed to veer away from the actual events told in the book. That said, it's likely been 15+ years since I read the book and from what I recall, to make a dramatic tv series some liberties would need to be taken. Napoleon Dynamite Yeah, seen the memes, but never the movie. Thought it would be a good one to watch with mrs. Effin and our HS freshman daughter since we struggle with finding shows & movies to watch together. No dice. I found it hilarious, mrs. Effin was asleep in 10 minutes, and my daughter thought it was dumb. Tina. Eat. EAT THE FOOD! (Ok, one spoiler) |
