    The Russians have lost at least 15 years(!) of main battle tank production so far in the war. they've had roughly 3000 tanks destroyed, they can only build about 200 a year. The most commonly used tank on the battlefield by the Russians right now are T-62s, which are 60ish years old. You see very few T-72s on the battlefield now, that was their most common tank pre war, almost all of them have been destroyed. Most of the BMP-2 and BMP-3 fleet has also been destroyed, you see more of the lighter armored BTRs and very old BMP-1s.

    i would guess they still have 3000 tanks that they can pull together from storage, but they will of course be really old models. At current loss rates that will last them about 2 years, but of course the loss rate can change if they have more battlefield success.
