OK Gen Xer
He's right that that's how it should be.
The solution is for state governments to stop disinvesting in higher education
yes in an ideal world public schools should be as affordable as the ones in Europe*
in europe, the cost of universities is way less. also, outside of a handful of schools, the quality
And the reason they cost less is because there is actual public investment in education*
The solution is make the degree cost relative to the earning power of the degree.*
there's that idea of making it free in exchange for taking a percentage of future earnings*
The onus should be on the consumer to make wise purchases.
The solution is to make AA Degree and vocational training free*
That seems it would just displace/shift the glut of higher education costs.*
He's saying that college tuition is 1/10 what it is*
i know this is not the point of the exchange but why would anyone pay the full-time tuition
I assume the part-time price is also per-term*
And what job is paying a non-professional 15/hr?*
Every single one in IL come 2025*
