Is there any way to mute everything except ring tones on an iPhone?

I can’t stand having noises on all the games, or having random videos and pop up ads blaring, so I have my phone on silent 99% of the time.

The downside is I miss calls, which is usually fine but not always. Like right now I am waiting for a callback, but if I have the sound on the iPhone is almost unusable for most games and websites.

i guess still google, because if you just ask your question you get this:

Steps to Set Up Your Focus Mode
Open Focus Settings: Go to Settings > Focus.
Select or Create a Focus: Tap Do Not Disturb (or tap the + icon in the top right to create a custom one).
Allow Calls: Under the Allow Notifications section, tap People.
Under Allow Notifications From, you can leave this blank or add your most important contacts.
At the bottom of the screen, tap Allow Calls From and select Everyone, All Contacts, or Favorites depending on who you want to reach you.
Ensure the Allow Repeated Calls toggle is turned on or off based on your preference.
Silence Apps: Tap the Apps box under the Allow Notifications section. Make sure it is set to Allow Notifications From and that no apps are added to the list.
Turn it On: Whenever you want this active, swipe down from the top right of your screen to open the Control Center, tap Focus, and select the Focus mode you just customized

I saw something similar when I googled it about allowing calls when set to do not disturb. But I didn’t think that would do what I wanted, in terms of having games and websites muted when I had them open.

i mean the point of the focus mode is that you have it by your side and don't want it to distract you. if you are actively engaging with it, that basically means you don't care about the distractions/sounds

i get what you're saying. and maybe something that should be possible. but for now, i'd say flip the little button to put it to silent mode when you pick it up and use vs passively on desk

You can get a good answer from AI, but it requires a research pipeline.

I built a tool that turns questions and reports into podcast episodes I can listen to when I take a walk at lunch.

When I encounter an unfamiliar topic, I send a question to the ingestion agent. It does an initial search, then fans out further searches based on the initial result. The results that come back are synthesized, and the resulting text is evaluated and checked for gaps, inconsistencies, or hallucinations by a totally different set of models.

It would be expensive to operate at scale, but for a handful of questions a week, it's pretty cheap.

getting optimal results.

I would have liked to hear them talk more about whether it makes sense to spend time and money developing a software-only product with no real IP that will be sold in someone else's App Store, and run on someone else's hardware in a world where the cost of developing software is dropping so substantially. But I get that this isn't that kind of movie.
