Trent Osborne was "name above the title" in this extremely popular period romance. He was clearly the star as the notorious Lord Allingham. The studio saw this as an opportunity to showcase a variety of female contract players opposite him to see who might have star potential.
The chaste social manners of the Regency period left Trent bemoaning the fact that a stately dance was the closest his character got to any contact with his lovely co-stars. Filming the gambling den scenes where the gloves (and much else) were off was a different matter. Any ladies present there were not the type His Lordship would be bringing home to Mother.
Regency Rascal features a soft cotton shirt, and breeches with attached stockings to protect the feet and allow the boots to be pulled on. The boots are a stretch fabric with a smooth, leather appearance. Trent wears a lined vest of silk brocade. His navy silk tie has been rigged with a permanent bow, so his dresser need only fasten a hook and loop at the back of the neck.
Two copies are available. The price is $120. This includes the shirt, breeches with stockings, boots, vest and tie, and shipping in the U.S. The doll and props are not included. To purchase, please email me at dayandnoir@aol.com. Thank you.
