This outfit idea came to me from a scene in the movie Clue, when Mrs. White is first introduced. Needless to say, she made a striking first impression that has lasted with me.

Gene is wearing a black linen swing coat that is fully lined in a black and ivory silhouette cotton print. It has wide collar and full sleeves. Under the coat is a simple short sleeved sheath in the same cotton fabric. The silhouette images in the print are stunning. The dress snaps up the back. It is accessorized with red - a red belt with red rhinestone buckle, a red pillbox hat, and a red handbag. I've paired the outfit with red shoes which are not included. I think the overall look captures the same impression as movie.
