In the summer months of the 18th century, the ladies of the French Court went to the countryside to play at being shepherdesses. The heavy fabrics of palace life gave way to the rustic charm of printed cottons.
The Trianon bodice is lined. The skirt is not, and the gown has a snap back closure. Underneath the gown, the fashion includes a separate cotton petticoat to give the desired shape of flat front and side fullness to the skirt. The price of Trianon is $160 which includes boxed shipping in the U.S. only. The doll, her wig and necklace are not included. Payment by PayPal Goods and Services.
