If anyone claims Japanese cars manufactured in Japan aren't unionized...they are wrong. Union auto workers there total about 1.5 million people. Two federations. They differ from auto workers here in that, regardless of one's job om the assembly, if a manufacturing mistake is noticed, the whole line shuts down. This is also the practice in US plants making Japanese cars. Also, in Japan, the supply chain in Japan for materials and parts is superior to the US chain. Many Americans have no idea of any of this. Doesn't stop them from pretending they do.
