Perfect viewing conditions...not a cloud in the sky. The weird twilight is so cool!! The temperature dropped 5 or 10 degrees as the eclipse approached its peak, and the owls started hooting (we have a bunch of them around here).
I could have driven 120 miles southeast and seen totality, but there's so much road work in these parts that it's virtually impossible to get anywhere from anywhere.
