It was before my time as well but I did have 2 uncles and my father who were involved. My dad in France and Germany, one uncle in North Africa, and another in the Pacific.
DiscoveryID is good, fear thy neighbor, evil lives here, etc, a lot of viewing time there.
Primeval has to be one of the latest, best Western series I have seen in a long time. There are others but that one stands out.
