but to me a large part of the enjoyment of powersports is the smell of burning gasoline, and the sound of an internal combustion engine. I know I'm a dinosaur, but I'm gonna stay with gas hopefully as long as I live.

Now if I was a kid, I would definitely want/have one of the cool e-bikes or scooters out there that rip 30+MPH, just because they are LEGAL for kids to ride on the street. We had to to take big risks to dodge the cops.
