I had a similar Samsung flip phone until 2016 or so. I left it in a hoodie that I tossed in the washing machine. So I went to a Verizon store to see about my options. A young employee greeted me and after I produced the phone and explained my problem he looked at me and grinned asking if I had indoor plumbing at my home yet.
