The best place I've ever lived was on the mountain in Trinity Co. 31 years. Absolutely loved the place, but the very real risk of burning alive in a fire every year, and some spousal input caused us to move to Humboldt. It's great here in many/most ways, but I doubt I will ever really get used to the weather. I love hot, dry, and clear skies. Wifey adores the weather here...
