Egg prices

Are definitely down (no thanks to trump). I purchased 20 dozen medium size eggs for $15 a few weeks ago. I purchase directly at the farm, give half or more to my kids. This particular farmer has between 40-50,000 egg layers. During the early parts of the bird flu he lost about half even though his hens are in sealed environments. To enter the barns a full bunny suit with breathing gear is required and that includes a disinfectant chamber before entering. Besides the 6 barns for layers he has a brooder barn from where he sells live chicks to other farms. Full scale operation with 40-50k eggs produced daily.
