This is a long and complicated report from Seth Abramson, which was triggered by Steve Schmidt's Twitter feud this week with Meghan McCain, during which Schmidt revealed a lot of things we didn't know before about John McCain being influenced by Russian operatives during his 2008 presidential run, including his own campaign manager Rick Davis (friend of Paul Manafort). McCain actually spent his 70th birthday on the yacht of Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska, if you can believe it.
