There would be no reason to change yahoo addresses to verizon. When they buy yahoo they'll also be buying the yahoo email servers so people will keep their yahoo email---verizon would be shooting itself in the foot if they made everybody change over to a verizon address. They would loose way to many yahoo customers by doing that.
