There's a free Chrome add-on called Scorekeeper (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/scorekeeper/ognaddcodlklfjfbaghkkoipibeniocp?hl=en-US) that I've heard about but haven't tried.

I have looked into Text Mechanic (http://textmechanic.com/text-tools/numeration-tools/online-tally-counter/) in the past, but it was a bit complicated for my taste.

Or, would something as simple as Google Spreadsheets work? Set up the columns and track progress?
