However, the explanation of theirs that you sent me seems incredibly nonsensical and wrong. Although there is some evidence that gut bacteria can influence bone growth, it won't make you taller, and it CERTAINLY doesn't work by "splitting the cells of your bones." I personally would disbelieve this website and doubt their credibility. But again, you should talk to a medical doctor if you still think it is a good idea.
In general, if sometime sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I have a somewhat cynical view of the world, but if there were a plant that could make you taller without horrible side effects, I believe it would have been found and marketed by large pharmaceutical companies long ago. Many people want to be taller, and this could be a multi-million/billion dollar business if it actually worked. These large companies, regardless of how ethical or unethical they are, spend millions of dollars every year trying to find new treatments to sell. I personally doubt they would have somehow not heard of a plant like this that actually works.
