Dr. Paley (the best surgeon) who uses Stryde (the best equipment) can not guarantee a full recovery. I've spoken to few of his patients, none of them fully recovered. At best, they recovered about 90% and that is by having one surgery (femur, bone with better healing ability). Not one of them lengthened more than 8 cm (3 inches), but still needed years to 'recover'. Their side effects are pain (mostly in the knees), slower reaction due to change in the center of gravity, incapability to walk for longer periods of time, etc.
Now, keep in mind that they paid $100k+ to get the best treatment currently available. We don't even know what awaits them once they get older. Perhaps arthritis? Increase in pain? Or maybe both? We don't know as of now, but the future will tell.
If I were to get any type of treatment that increases your stature, I would go for minimum 15cm (6 inches). That would require me to break 2 bones (femur and tibia), then lengthen each bone by 7.5 cm (3 inches). Dr Paley offers that treatment for $280k. The surgery doesn't grow your body proportionally, but only legs (giving you a non-ideal body ratio). That, believe it or not, is not even my main concern, it is the health of my legs.
Therefore, I do not ever see myself doing a limb lengthening surgery. Yes, your legs are longer, but the muscles are constantly being stretched and they are forced to carry the weight of much bigger legs than they were naturally designed to.
I don't know much about Ayurvedic Urea, but if it is a real thing and it delivers on what they promise, I am willing to pay crazy amounts of money - all I need is for them to meet me in person, walk me through the process, show proof of no long term side effects and I'll happily overpay for their service.
