The northern part of this city, place in the Underworld of Ginnugagap, is considered to be the coldest place one can imagine. People here are often seen in layered up clothing to attempt to wait out the cold. In the southern part of the city lies Muspelheim, the hottest part of the city. Heat radiates off of every building. For deceased mortals, this may seem like hell. But for gods and goddesses, it wouldn't bother them much. A palace lays in the center of the city, right between Nieflheim and Muspelheim. The palace itself looks split with the freezing and the warm, the middle being perfec t in temperature. This palace is reserved for the ruler of Ginnugagap.
